Pronk Drawing for ‘This Is Rembrandt’

 

A ‘pronk painting ‘ was an elaborate still life exhibiting symbols of the commissioning personality’s wealth. ‘Pronk’ means “flamboyance” in modern Dutch or “sullen” in Middle Dutch. For ‘This Is Rembrandt’ published by Laurence King.
